On payment methods:
- What are the accepted payment options?Credit card Worldpay is the only payment option accepted by Clarence. You will be asked to enter you credit card data during the purchase procedure and confirm whether the transaction was successfully completed or not. On Clarence you can use credit cards with the following circuits:
- Is the security of payments made online guaranteed? Our payment procedure occur on a secure server (SSL) belonging to our credit institution for online payments. The procedure therefore takes place on an encrypted transfer protocol SSL3 with algorythm Triple Des at 128 bits. The transfer is therefore encrypted and the parameters passing through the client's browser are in code. All the information you enter during the purchase procedure, including credit card information, are sent to the server as coded information. This information will only be used for this one transaction and will not be memorized under any form on our database. For this reason, on all future orders you will have to re-enter your credit card information each time.
- Can I use a credit card issued to someone other than the owner or billing contact of a domain? You can use any valid credit card. Clarence will however produce an invoice based on the billing information you enter at the time of purchase independently of who the credit card is issued to.
- Can public bodies, associations or institutions with no credit card issued to their name also make credit card payments?Yes, the rule applies to all. You can use a personal credit card as long as the invoice and billing information is of the body or organization indicated at the time of the order.
- Once I have made an order, will I receive confirmation?Once you have completed your order, you will receive two emails. The first one will confirm that a transaction has occurred on your credit card and that it was requested by Clarence. The second email will contain a summary of the information entered at the time of purchase and MyClarence access codes (userName and passWord) will be communicated. Keep this email: the access codes will be necessary to access your personal control panel (MyClarence) to administer your domain and linked services and from which you can order new services and products.
ATTENTION: all of our communications with you will occur through email at the address you specified at the time of purchase. If you want to change it at a later time, all you'll need to do is enter MyClarence, got to "My Details" and change it there.
